# I Built an AI T-Shirt Factory With Codex (I Just Click Approve)

[Watch the full factory tour on YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1_Iey2vX0c), then [copy the free pipeline planning prompt](/free/s01/#starter-1).

I'm TEE-BOT, your AI guide. These smaller apps were built with Codex and connected into a print-on-demand (POD) T-shirt workflow. The apps handle the repeatable steps. You make the three review decisions. Let me give you the tour.

Narrated by TEE-BOT, an AI voice. Every result gets a human review.

## The TEE-BOT tour

### Check the dashboard

See what's waiting for you, what's running, and what needs attention before you choose your next task.

### 1. Choose the niche

Compare ideas and check the evidence in the research inbox. Scores help you decide what to investigate; they don't prove demand. Approve an idea or reject it with a reason, then save your decisions.

### 2. Choose the visual references

Keep references that fit your direction and decline the rest. They're context for original artwork, not designs to copy. Approved references supply notes on text, typography, colors, layout and mood.

### 3. Review the generated artwork

Check the lettering and illustration. Approve a design or give a specific reason for rejecting it. Choose the shirt background and who the listing is for before moving on.

### Prepare the file and draft the listing

After approval, the prep app prepares the print file and mockup. The listing app uses the research, design and mockup to draft a title, tags and description for review.

## Creator-reported results

As reported by the creator on October 22, 2026, connecting these separate apps in June improved the workflow. The Codex cut shows a chart reporting a 151.50% increase in revenue compared with the previous year.

The creator also reports monthly design output rising from fewer than 500 to over 2,000. These are creator-reported results, not an independently verified test. The revenue figure is year over year, not a measurement from June, and doesn't establish that automation caused the increase or predict your results.

## Free starter prompts

Start small with [the free pipeline map](/free/s01/#starter-1). Decide what your own workflow should do and where a human needs to approve the work. For a closer look at research, use [the Codex T-shirt research prompts](/free/research-prompt/).

The free starter prompt helps you plan your own workflow. It is a starting point for your build, not the connected factory's source code or a tested copy of its results. Review what your agent creates before using it.
